Our son (AKA the Cookie Monster) and his wife have raved about the Country Cupboard Cookies we've sent them in the past. So we decided to send ourselves a box, to see whether the recipients were just being polite or whether the cookies were really good. WOW! They are fantastic -- even better than homemade. We especially like the way they are packaged in two-cookie sets that you can freeze. and then thaw them when you need a boost. Just pop a couple of frozen cookies in the microwave for 15 seconds or so, and they come out smelling and tasting like you just baked them. The instructions come with the cookies. I hear rave reviews from friends and family whenever I send Country Cupboard Cookies. The packaging is very convenient. The cookies and brownies are wrapped in groups of two, so the cookies will last over time. That is a huge advantage when you want to send an edible gift to a single individual. The presentation always makes a big impact--people rave about how beautiful the box is! Delivery is so reasonable, and less expensive than if I had them sent across town, rather than across the country! I will use Country Cupboard Cookies again and again! If I had to recommend an improvement, I would ask them to design their site so I can customize my cookie selection more easily--You can, but you need to include it in notes, which always makes me nervous. Cookies were really, really good - at least according to my parents, to whom I sent as a gift. Sent regular cookie assortment & shortbread assortment. Very flavorful & fresh and they particularly liked the individual wrappings (1 or 2 (not sure) to a package), which kept the remaining cookies fresh.
