Double Chocolate Brownies, a classic favorite
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 TBL water
1 teaspon pure vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspon salt
12 oz Chocolate chips ( use one large bag, divided)
Combine butter, sugar, water in a saucepan, bring just to a boil. Remove from heat. Add 1 cup chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Transfer to large Bowl and add eggs one at a time. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in remaining chips. Pour into a 9 inch greased and floured pan and bake 25-30 minutes at 325 degrees.
After cooling brownies, top with your favorite chocolate icing and mini chips!
This is a family favorite, we used this one to later create the deep dish brownies that we make in our bakery today!
