Country Cupboard Cookies ships all of our gift packages from our bakery outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We ship our packages using UPS and FedEX depending on the location. We do not ship outside of the US. We do however ship to FPO/APO boxes via USPS Priority Mail. This service to Military mail takes anywhere from 7-13 days.

Delivery of your cookie gifts once baked and packaged is a very important part of your order. Our main concern is for your recipient ( or you! ) to receive your freshly baked gift package as quickly as possible so the baked goods remain fresh and delicious. We also realize the importance of your birthday gift arriving in time for the special occasion! We've developed a few guidelines to achieve these goals:

*PLEASE READ FOR SHIP DETAILS. We ship Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to all states in the USA if your order is received by 1 pm EST. You can choose ASAP or your shipping week when you checkout online. We do NOT ship out of the US. Your gift should arrive in 2 to 3 Business days after shipped. We ship to Pennsylvania, Ohio and Maryland Monday thru Friday.

We can only estimate these times for you, we cannot guarantee delivery dates with standard shipping. *Note that orders shipped to Pennsylvania will usually arrive in ONE Business Day after shipped with standard delivery so that express delivery is NOT necessary.

EXPRESS SHIPPING ( Next Business Day after gift is shipped).
If you need the gift to arrive more quickly or for exact day delivery, we offer NEXT DAY AIR. We will ship these gifts Monday thru Friday. These gifts will ship to arrive in ONE Business Day after shipped. For example, an order placed by Thursday at 3 pm EST will arrive on Friday, an order placed on Friday by 3 pm EST will arrive on Monday. It is always best to ship early in the week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so that your gift arrives the freshest possible. NEXT DAY AIR shipping is $20.00 in addition to the standard shipping rates shown above.

Shipping Note:
Typically we do not ship on Fridays unless it is local, nearby states as Pennsylvania, Ohio or Maryland or you choose NEXT DAY AIR or SATURDAY. We want your cookies to be fresh & delicious when you receive them! Therefore any other order received after 1 pm EST on Thursday will ship on Monday unless ordered NEXT DAY air or SATURDAY. It is best to call us at 1.800.858.8970 or email us with any special delivery questions. We can help you decide which option would be the best for your occasion. You can also use the "COMMENTS" section available during checkout to let us know any special delivery date requests.

Shipping Address :
Please double check your shipping address. We cannot guarantee a delivery if the address you give us is not accurate. If our carriers need to correct the address, there is a $ 10.00 charge. UPS and Fedex require a street address, they do not deliver to PO Boxes. If you only have a PO box available, please call us at 1.800.858.8970. We will have to ship via Priority Mail, but cannot track your package as closely as UPS and FedEx, the day of delivery can only be estimated.

Shipping to Hawaii or Alaska :
Shipping to Hawaii may take an extra day, i.e. 2-4 days instead of 2-3 days. We ship priority mail to most of Alaska and Hawaii. We will notify you of any changes to your total shipping cost and or shipping time as this is dependent on the particular zip code. Both Alaska and Hawaii shipments have additonal charges.

Additional Shipping details:Typically, UPS and FedEx will leave a package at the door or porch if no one is at home when delivering to a residence. However, if the driver does not feel that the package can be left safely, it is up to the driver to make this decision. UPS and FedEx will make three delivery attempts ( on 3 consecutive business days) to deliver the package, then return the package to us. They will leave a note on the door with each attempt with the number to call UPS. This usually happens with apartment units when no one is at home and there is no place to leave the package, i.e. a front office ,etc. By far, most packages are delivered without incident. If the package is returned to us, we will notify you and reship a fresh product with an additional charge.

Shipping to Hospitals: We deliver to hospitals Monday thru Friday, but the delivery by UPS or FedEx will be made to the shipping and receiving dept., not the rooom of the patient. Therefore, it may take an extra day for the package to reach the recipient. Unless, the person is going to be in the hospital for an extended time, it is best to ship to their home address.

Shipping delays: Shipping refunds may not be given for delays beyond our control or our shipper's control. This may include weather conditions, incorrect or shipping address including lack of apt or suite number, natural disasters, or refusal to accept packages.

Shipping to APO/FPO Military mail: We do offer shipping to APO/FPO mailing addresses via Priority Mail. We've found that it usually takes a week to 10 days for the packages to arrive overseas via the Military Mail. However, we cannot track these packages for you and time of delivery cannot be guaranteed.
